Loudoun County Parkway
(Updated January 2008)

Alliance Position:
Complete construction by 2012 and limit access points
.

Profile:
The Loudoun County/Tri-County Parkway is a major planned arterial roadway linking Route 7 in eastern Loudoun County, western Fairfax County, I-66 and the Route 234 Bypass/Prince William County Parkway just northwest of Manassas. The Loudoun County Parkway is the name of the road north of Route 620, Braddock Road. South of that point the corridor is known as the Tri-County Parkway, formerly the Route 28 Bypass
.

The entire Loudoun County/Tri-County Parkway is in the region’s Constrained Long Range Plan (CLRP) and in the 2008-2013 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The segment south of Braddock Road is included as a study. Segments between I-66 and Route 620 are not coded in the networks for air quality conformity. The Loudoun County segment between Route 620 and Route 7 is coded in the air quality networks.

All portions of the Loudoun County Parkway from Route 7 south to Braddock Road are either proffered or in place and open to traffic.
